Carl eugen keel

Carl Eugen Keel (1885–1961) was a Swiss painter. He is principally known for his woodcuts, usually portraying town life, and often hand-coloured. Less well known are his oil paintings, watercolours, wood carvings and wrought iron sculptures.

i think these are lino prints, not too sure, there wasn't much information on him on wikipedia so i don't know if i'll continue looking at him

david hockney

this is david hockney, I used him in my last project, I think his work looks really difficult, personally i couldn’t be bothered sitting there on a computer and putting all the pictures together but it does look good to be honest

Life drawing

Was meant to be doing life drawing this morning but my phone died in the night so my alarm didn’t go off, My boyfriends mum woke me up at half eight and i only had 15 minutes to get ready so i was late, they lock the door for life drawing so i would have been locked out, but i’m coming in at break so its all funky dory isn’t it!

well actually no it’s not, i don’t want to draw a naked man.

this is a idea for my print project, choosing to do this because i fucking love the hunger games, I fell in love with katniss, she’s so powerful! i like the mockingjay itself and what it represents. the way it just ignites in popularity and becomes the widespread symbol of rebellion, simply because katniss wanted to smack the capitols failure with the birds in their faces

bein poorly in college but being a real trooper and doing my workies anyway

okay so my new project is called ”a tale of two prints” and the options for it are:

• decay
• time
• architecture
• pattern
• poetry and literature
• colour
• house and home
• scale
• current affairs
• people
• places

i chose time and poetry & literature, because i think these two would fit nicely together if i wanted them to, but also because i want to see how different i can make them, I did a brainstorm and i think for ”poetry and literature” i’m going to do something on the hunger games (BEST BOOK EVAAAR!!!!) i’ve got a few ideas for time aswell but nothing is set in stone yet, EXCITED ABOUT THIS PROJECT YEYUUUUR!

The themes were :

or:

I think this shows that the college itself is a community, and i have shown this by changing the college logo slightly and making it look like a christmas tree!

Finally finished my first project, should have finished it ages ago but ahh well
